Part of the Russian Writers at Berkeley project, this page is devoted to the conceptual artist and poet Dmitri Aleksandrovich Prigov (1940-2007). Its centerpiece is a recording of Prigov’s performance at University of California, Berkeley in February 2001. Visitors may learn more about Prigov’s life and work, view the Berkeley performance in full, concentrate on individual poems, acquaint themselves with a selection of Prigov’s visual art, or watch interviews with Prigov’s translators, scholars, and intimates.
